Question: What are your hours?
Answer: We're permanately closed as of December 31, 2016!
Question: What is your best method of contact?
Answer: Email through the Contact page. Due to the increased volume, we'll respond as soon as possible.
Question: What shipping provider do you use?
Answer: We ship all orders via United States Postal Service. All orders are provided with a tracking number.
Question: What is your store's return and exchange policy?
Answer: The item(s) must be shipped back within 3 days for full refund. We do not pay for return shipping. The item(s) must be shipped back within 7 days for exchange for same product or product of equal value. The clothing and/or other accessories must be new and not worn, stained or altered.
Question: Will the CDs that you sell at shows, other events, etc. play in all players?
Answer: No. They will play in most players, but not in some older players. This is an item that we don't accept return and exchanges on. We apologize for any inconvenience that his may have on you.
Question: Which retailers do you distribute the music to?
Answer: We will distribute your music to online retailers such as iTunes and Amazon MP3. We will also license the music out to be made available for placement in YouTube and other social video platforms, commercials, films, TV shows, and video games. Also, we will make your CD available to over 15,000 resellers worldwide through Alliance Entertainment (which has worked with Universal Music, Sony Music, EMI, Warner and many others), Amazon.com, Super D, and many others; including on consignment at mom-and-pop shops. We will also register your songs with our publishing subsidiary.
Question: Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Answer: Yes we do!
Question: How long will it take to receive my order?
Answer: Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
Question: What if something is wrong with my order?
Answer: If you have a problem with an order from our store, please contact us directly through the Contact page.
Question: What music genre(s) do you focus on?
Answer: We lean towards country, Irish folk/Celtic, Christian/gospel, singer-songwriter, alternative, jazz, Latin, blues and fusion.
Question: How far does your territory spread?
Answer: Our territory covers the State of Michigan but we mainly focus on the Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit and Kalamazoo areas.
Question: How does an individual become a client for 517 Entertainment?
Answer: You must have live performance experience, a following of at least 15-20 people just on the local level, be serious, dedicated, passionate, fit our core values, unsigned, are active on social media, have original material (new 2016 policy: if there are any lyrics, they must be clean which means no offensive or sexual language), aren't part of a union (i.e. music, film, entertainment) and live in Michigan. If you meet that criteria, then we will set up an interview and discuss the possibility of giving you a contract to be on our roster. There have been rare circumstances where the artist had no following and live performance experience but their style was very unique and helped him/her stand out. Also, it doesn't matter if you're 17 or 40, we'd love to hear what you have!
